The process

The Lucent Umbra

When I embarked on creating charcoal portraits, it was initially a means to illuminate the shadows in my own life.  Over the past two decades, my journey has revolved around manipulating light and shadow to craft beauty.  Gradually, it evolved from a personal endeavor into a way to partake in others' experiences, shedding light on their worlds, even their shadows.  Providing not only unique but also personal creations continues to bring me immense joy, as each piece is intended to illuminate and bring light to its recipient.
